  • Is this the end of Backyard Sports for good, because I need everyone in this wikia to help a friend and I on some projects.

      Well, I never liked sandlot sluggers or rookie rush.

      My project is Backyard Sports MMO with the style of 2004.

    • Yes, I'm working on MMO, Basics 2, Generations, Smooth Moves, and quite a few other projects with Punchcar. I use the Unity engine, (For those who wondered), and have made some attempts to custom build a server.

    • Now how will this MMo will work? Are you gonna to get players to create a team, pick and choose players, and do like a online season mode for them? (If I"m not making any sense let me know )

      The idea is there will be several servers running. A few will be designed to deal with matches, given you go into the right portal. The portals will have markers on them stating what they do. The other servers deal with running the game. Basically, you create a character, and play in a 3d world. So, in an eventual build, I will implement the season mode. You should an a beta release be able to create a team. I can't guarantee it's going to save until I have the online backend fully configured. I will be doing a few testing runs during development on my own.

      Ok thank you and one more question will incroperate any of the original charaters, If so how will it play out?

      Yes it will have the original characters, and some can be talked to in the hub area. (That's where matches and other stuff is created). The idea is for the game's release, you can add your own custom characters, and the original characters to teams (pros can ask to be removed in the next build). When most of the server side issues are ironed out, there will be an option to save your teams.
